I'm baaack!

I'm back. I've been able to resist coming online for so long (actually, the main reason is cause i've been sick for the past Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Haha..) but i can't resist it anymore. There's much to do today! Need to check mails, check blog updates, update own blog(which i'm currently doing), check out Denise's pouty face picture, watch Jas's video. Fine, I have to study too.

Being sick makes me realise how much i love food. I've been on a constant diet of biscuits and bread for the past few days. Getting bored with that. I want my fried rice! The nice fragrant smell, big juicy prawns, spicy sambal.....Aaaaah. *drools* Looking at friends eating but being not able to eat what they eat is such torture. The nasi lemak, cokodok, tom yum bihun looked especially enticing today. And it's the puasa month now so there are less people to fight with for the cokodok and nasi lemak. I want my share of cokodok tomorrow! =)

I will also mention that my 3 friends abandoned me in school yesterday. Nobody messaged me to even ask if i was going to school. Evil friends. =P Especially Jas. You were always the one who would never skip school. Being nice and all, i thought you'd be all alone so i went to school to accompany you despite being sick. Smartly you chose not to go. Hpmh. (are you feeling the guilt now, Jas? XD) Good thing Kimmy and Yee Mei was there to keep me company.

Now, i'm running off to eat my porridge and get some studying done. Oh yes, shall i mention that i'm quite panicked now? There's so much to revise! And so little time. The one who is ahead (as always) of us in the studying department is Ames. She claims to have only flipped through the books but still manages to get correct for most of her answers. Smart people memang like that. =) Jas, Denise and i are at about the same pace (as usual). Lagging behind her. Heh heh.

Alright alright, i'll eat my porridge now.

Part 1 of Speech Day

I is happy! Ames sent photos. Wheeeeee. Though it's mostly photos taken towards the end of the day. The earlier shots are in another camera...Ah well, I guess these photos will make do for now. Anyway, enjoy the pictures! =)

Just read the board.

The board says it all...

I mean..there were 4 people with 3 cameras.
And nobody knew what to do. XD

The emotionless duo. XD

Then we had inspiration!
There, you go...A gang of prefects, obviously retired.

Hmm....

Another one for the camera.

And that ends the day. =)

More to come...some time later.
By the way, this took me long enough. Need to get a photobucket account or something...
Oh yes, thanks for fixing the tag board, Ames!
Off to Sejarah for now. Cheers. =)

A Car.

Crazy Head Pat-ter

Today is a good day. It's a good day because it's the 12th. And 12 is a nice number. Hahaha...

Nothing much happened in school. Just had some diagnostic modules to do for Physics. Oh, and according to my friends, i'm a crazy head pat-ter. XD I guess i am. I have a confession to make. I have an obsessive compulsive disorder when it comes to giving pats. My junior should know. Used to do it to her everyday. Haha...I think she didn''t like it very much though. Sorry!
That and i didn't do yesterday's Add Maths homework. XD My friends who are equally lazy didn't do either. In fact, we're not going to do it anytime soon. Probably on Monday morning when we have to pass up or something.

GERAM

At long last the magazine is on it's way to printing. After about 2 long months which practically nothing was done, we finally went to the lithographers today. We thought if we finished producing the magazine early (which we did in mid July right before our 2nd monthly test), we could get the magazine earlier but then (unlike last year where there were complications)...who knew those people with 'adult mentality' happen to just come up with problem after problem.

Though i must admit, the detour to McD was fun! We got to arrive fashionably late to the lithographers and other people were already checking stuff. Hehe. Oh, Aimy got the hand sign from some typical inconsiderate Penang driver. Not a particular finger, just the hand. You know the one they show when they're annoyed and they seem to be saying
"pi la! Dunno how to use brain wan issit?" and then proceed to stare at you as they drive past.
Penang drivers need to learn driving etiquettes...The P sticker is there for a reason. Even if there was no sign, people should still be more considerate and polite while driving. Ah well.

Today was another one of those pek chek days (yesterday was one too). Almost broke down today. Got very VERY annoyed. Must be PMS. Heh. I think half the class must've thought i'd gone slightly nuts. Imagine someone coming into class blabbering random words, half screaming and on the verge of crying. Haha.

Well, it appears we of 'teenage mentality' cannot understand the 'adult problems' and we are just to run along and help the adults and not further confuse them. Since the adult know so much with their higher level of mentality, she should just solve that problem by herself and not involve us lower mentality people. I really don't like it when people look down on our ability just because we are younger. That and not accepting other people's explanation or reasoning and proceeding to do it your own way. If she was so capable, she might as well produce the whole thing on her own.

ARTUQ23= QT KLMA;

Sorry, that was to let out the geram-ness.

I shall not get too affected and annoyed anymore. Need to focus on trials and SPM. It's completed anyway...shouldn't have anymore complications now.

Graphs, Charts and Tables. Essays too.

Bear with me, I need to let out the unhappy vibes.

The CMGA team of our school got the merit award for the CMGA 2006/2007 program. That's just stating it nicely. In other words, we lost. LOST. I mean really really lost. Not even the top three spots. It's only a miserable consolation. (Wonder what Mdm Principal said when she found out) Disappointing, considering our achievements throughout the years...I think fellow school mates would be rather shocked.

Oh well. Here's an account of what happened...

We arrived with a sense of apprehension (ok, maybe it was just me). On catching a glimpse of a group doing last minute changes to their presentation, my heart just sank even further. (For those who don't know, only the top 3 winning teams are called to present their project) Obviously, our school didn't get that call. Anyway, the top 3 teams gave presentations on their CMGA projects.

A summary of their projects :
1. Recycling (We have that)
2. Conservation of Electricity & Energy (We have that too)
3.
Car pooling (uhh..no comments about that)
4. Paper 'bakul' (Ok, we don't have that...)
5. Recycled fashion (Fine, we don't have that either)
6. Supposedly a 'different' recycling (failed to see what was so different about it)

The best part : All 3 groups had COMPOSTING as a FUTURE plan.

You bet our team wasn't happy.

The recycling in our school is unbeatable. The best of the lot. (i'm sorry if this sounds like i'm boasting..but it's a fact) I mean, a certain team's 2 years worth of recycling makes up to less than half of our one year's supply. And, their one month's recycling is about as much as what one class in our school can produce.

Another team just recycles paper products. Hello? What about the other household wastes? Though it was quite funny when they talked about their paper 'bakul'. A certain teacher shouted 'basket' pretty loudly. The whole hall was kinda stunned. (i think it doesn't sound too funny here...It was funny at that point)

Next point, composting is not a future plan for us. We already have it up and running. We don't just have one site, we have Two. I guess the Big shots who are the final judges of the CMGA just overlooked that fact. Or maybe it was because we didn't have a good enough documentation. A lady told us we didn't present it in the way they wanted. Apparently the documentation is of more importance than the site audit itself. And apparently we didn't have enough charts, graphs and the like. Hmph. So now we get the picture. I guess we should all just forget about the real implementation of projects and focus on graph drawing instead. Seems like people forget the fact that the actual reason of the project is to save the environment and reach out the the community about saving the environment. All they care about is the documentation, regardless of whether the project is really done or not.

Ah well, i'll add to this when i think further. Aimy is pestering me to update real quick. There you go! =)

Further comments : Our team has more projects than the others. Different ones too. And i mean really different...XD just had to say that. I'll talk about the essay part some other time. Tired now.

Fresh start

Nah, sudah buat pun blog!
Is Aimy happy now? =)

Have been considering blogging again for sometime now but never actually got to it...Aimy finally talked me into creating one. Heh. And so...here's the first post.

Of all things to talk about, i'm gonna yak about trials. It's coming!!!! *sigh* The trials schedule came out yesterday...saddening nia. Kinda deflated 5 Sci 1's mood for the day. We thought we could at least put off studying certain subjects till later, but now we can't. Cause most of the papers are happening in the first and second week as well. Hence, we have to finish studying everything, i repeat -EVERYTHING- before 24th Sept. Though i am thankful in a way. Our school trials are quite late as compared to other schools...We've got more time. I mean, we desperately need to finish the syllabus (especially BIO)!

Oh yes, did i mention that i skipped school today? XD XD The first time i ever skipped school for no apparent reason. Escapism (BM is draining my english...Had to get help to spell the word properly. Tsk tsk) actually. The other 2 fellow escapers would know. =P Anyway, was supposed to be hard at work studying Bio secara terkurung di dalam bilik.
XD so much for that.

That's all for today.
