Ivy League Standard (according to JPA) :

THESE are what i have to aim for...and GET ADMITTANCE. If not i'll have to spend another year in Nilai. Personally, i'm going for MIT/Carnegie Mellon/Berkeley...Ivy ah..Maybe UPenn? HAAAAHAAA. I wonder if i'm good enough for any.
Haven't read up about the rest.
Sorry wei loon, your uni not in the list. =P though i could apply..if i want. We'll see. =)
Everytime i think about life in Nilai i get a bit apprehensive.
Though it's like someone knows i'm going to Nilai and decided to write an article in today's RAGE about life in nilai. THANK YOU!
Well, from what i gathered..there's a pasar malam and Giant supermarket. Which will eventually be my source of..entertainment? Hahaha. And and they have Secret Recipe in Giant! XD Um..i could go celebrate penang events there..alone..Sad patheticness.
Oh yes, i can actually reach civilization in about 1 hour 15 mins by KTM to KL Sentral. So i suppose i can actually see friends..once we've settled down.
(Though in Nilai, the quietness of it all just promotes studying studying and studying i suppose..)

A stroll down Memory Lane
Extremely long post ahead. Skip if you want to. But if you're Lynn, you better read the whole thing. I'll smack you if you don't.
This is for you, Ong Ee Lynn. =)
Standard 5 : The beginning
We officially became friends in 5 Biru. I think. All i remember is that we had nearly identical phone numbers back then. And you thought i was playing a trick on you. Hahaa. Oh wait, our Gurney hotel sleepover during Abby's birthday! Crazy times. =D
Standard 6 : Development
Then conversations over the phone started. Hahaha, goodness knows how many hours we racked up in total (not to mention the bill. =P).Your sister thought my name was 'Karyna'. Hahaha. YOU changed my life that year. I will always always remember that particular phone call. If it wasn't for you, i'd probably still be pretty clueless today. Thanks a million, Lynn. =) You know, you can stand proud when the time comes cause you've done something to touch peoples lives, namely mine.
Somehow i remember your Seni model house very well. You 'built' it out of cardboard complete with open-able roof, rooms and deco just like those miniature property show units. And the bathtub that you painstakingly carved and shaped out of a tiny piece of soap. You always had that creative, designing streak in you..I guess it first appeared in Standard 6, and you just moved on to bigger and bigger things. =)
And there were pancakes in the morning, stayovers, fellowship at the balcony, our candid pictures (especially the congkak one!), Abby's 'Uu uu'(if that's how you spell it), stories, Ms Ong's guitar playing.
Good old times.
Form 1 : Youngest again
From being the oldest and most 'tua liap' in standard 6, now we were back to being youngest and blurest. I remember our first Brook's House meeting, where we had no clue what was going on during the nomination..All us newbies got scolded by the high-and-mighty seniors for wasting time. Then, we got roped into marching. Hours and hours and hours baking under the hot sun. Maybe that was how you got your 'hitam manis' shade..=P
We went for Y-Act camp that year. We hid Joanne Wong's pig soft toy in the fridge while she was bathing. XD I wish we could go for more camps like that..
I think this was also the year you started your famous "I'll die a spinster with 10 cats" and "EEWWW. I HATE guys" phrases. But who know things could change a few year on..
Form 2 : Exposure year
School trip with the form 3s. I realised that was our one and only educational school trip. HAHAHA! With our Pn Looi in charge, we went to look at stuff related to our Geografi syllabus. Mangrove swamp, charcoal kilns, forest reserves, Gua Tempurung, and finally a bit of shopping in KL.
Konyaku jelly making at Jemimah's house for that year's canteen day. Where we played with the hot jelly. XD Also where i BROKE her mum's ladle. Whoops. =P
That year we got roped into marching once again, but still the kuai people we were, we always went for practices. Salted chicken lunch at your house with Ann Ting! =D Yum.
It was an 'exposure year' i guess cause then people got interested on the topic of HOS aka GUYS. Hydrogen..nitrogen..Just to name a few. =P
Then there was BM tuition. Ahem. The nights that you and Becky clearly enjoyed. The rubber tossing, table pushing, various other stationaries tossing. -.- That and raining paper on Mel to disturb her.
Also note that stuff you drew on our 2B blackboard is stuck in my head forever!!
There was also this cooking competition that you, Mel and I joined..Which we didn't even pass Pn Loke's qualifying round. Heh. Remember? That proves I was never cut out for cooking. =P
(now i don't have to worry about cooking anymore! Hopefully. LOL)
Form 3 : Murky waters
The year of 'friendship wars', 'conflicts', 'secrets' and 'i hate her's. Girls and our dramas. Heh. Though we still managed to get Cleanest Class for dunno how many consecutive times.
Because it's the PMR year, we went for extra classes here and there. KH Law then Eric Lim tuition classes. We mastered the art 'messaging' on scrap paper during tuition. Also, you killed my blue College pencilbox logo..and the blue juice oozed out.
Form 4 : Climbing 2 flights of stairs daily
In form 4, your nature of being friendly and amicable telah terserlah. Always the one who can join any 'gang', flit around and mix with all manner of classmates. As we were considered sort of seniors already, we became busy people. You with YE, me with Ed Board and RC. We both had our Break Down Point sometime throughout the year. XD
And how hard we tried to stay awake by doodling on the textbook (mine) during those boring sleep-inducing Sejarah lessons.
Tuition in Denise's house at night was fun. You and your cantonese cum hokkien cum mandarin sentences.
"yellow is purple!"
"siau pien" (mandarin word which lynn thought meant dreaming)
You really made tuition that much funner. =D
Another school trip, this time 4 Science 1 and 4 Science 2 combined. It was all about having fun and KL shopping. Wheee! Denise spilt water on your hotel bed in Genting! Eheh.
Also the year something happened to contradict your famous phrases.
Form 5 : Art
We went to different classes but still stayed close. Still with our long phone calls though less frequent. And i vaguely remember one in the middle of the night. Teehee. You became a fan of TVB dramas, becoming 'TVB partner' to Denise. First Francis Ng. Then Kevin Cheng. ThenBocco BOSCO. Your artistic desires were in full swing then. The jeans skirt, the sketches, the Photoshop artwork. AND You morphed my pink polka dotted pencil box into some pink canvas loaded with hidden mickies..or not so hidden.
The things you laughed at..which sometimes didn't make sense. "ichuchu, ichichi, ichacha"
We'd hear your burst of laughter everyday.
Ooh, yes..Our one week practice of a drama. 'A Kampung Story'.
That year too, i BROKE something else - your sviwel chair. Whooops. My bad.
From now on, we might be going on our different paths. Meeting different people. Doing different things. Going through different experiences. Though we will be separated by the distance, deep down i know we'll be
"BEST FRIENDS FOREVER"
[insert high-pitched, plastic style laughter] XD
END.
There, your blog post, Lynn. =)

Emo(ticons)
Mummy has started making lists.
Yes, already.
List of things to buy. List of household items to bring. List of..
You get the idea.
Sigh.
Count down to life in Nilai - 32 days. About one month.
Far away from home, people, things, comfort zone.
Double sigh.
Who says I'm emo?
I am not emo. I am not emo. I am not emo.
See? I'm not.

Right.
Just any nice decent uni will do la. =)
Now, should i still take AS..
Hmm...
AS ends mid June..
Need to spend so much time studying summore.
Cool, first time i put up 3 posts in a day.
Usually Lynn's the one who does it..Or Jas.

Hey, Mr Postman.
Oh my oh my.
It's here..
I'm going to US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE US OF A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BUT I WANT UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ook..stop stop..Chill.
Oddly, i had this inkling that i'd be going to US.
Sigh...So far away.
Heh. Wei Loon, i'll see you there in a year's time.
For now, i'll be heading to Inti for my American University Programme lasting 12 months. I know what you're thinking, but it's not Inti in Penang...It's Inti International College, Nilai. Negeri Sembilan, if you don't know where that is.
It'll be near the Sepang circuit though. -.- Har de har. What's the use.
Anyway, Inti Nilai is a spin off from KL city centre..so i'd probably get to see Denise or Mei Mei some time. =)
Will be heading off on 1st July..though probably sooner. To check the place out and stuff.
That means i have roughly a month left in the little island of Penang.
My oh my..
AND AND,
I'm gonna ABANDON SHIP!
Yes yes, stopping A Levels, sadly. And starting everything from scratch in Nilai.
(not gonna continue with AS exams either, most probably)
Though this means i can go kai kai. Heh.
Okay..more updates on jpa friends when i get news. For now, going to read the whole stack of booklets they gave. Seeya.
ps- Some haven't gotten their letters yet, so..for once i'm not the last person. Haha.
Edit : Aimy got US too. Wen Lee - Poland, Chia Sin - UK, my cousin - Czech Republic

Nerves
AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!
Mei Mei just got her offer letter. Denise too!
I hate being the last to receive letters.
The 'Meet Mr CM' letter came a day after the dateline to submit our replies. And who knows when this jpa one is coming.
I have a theory that the postmen in my area are slightly... shall we say..not too hardworking.
I. Need. To. Know.
How to study like that?
So high strung now, how to do headache-inducing mechanics?
Duwan take AS ade la...Go kl must start from scratch wan.
Yer.
Oh by the way, if anyone was wondering...Mei Mei gonna fly off to UK in 2 years time. And our bak bak Wong will be heading to Canada in 12 months time.
So there. =)

There, updated.
Sorry sorry for the lack for updates.
AS was disturbing. Among other things.
Physics paper 2 was difficult..or so i thought. Most people thought it was much better than the one during trials. Idunno. We'll see. Math was just Math. =) and GP today was hot. Most of us went in armed with jackets and to find out that the air condition was non existent. It died, me thinks. Oh, GP was...the usual random stringing of words together. Heh. I was looking forward to environment related/shallow topics, which obviously there were none. How sad. I wish i could put smiley faces and use informal language in the essays. Like this
Fat chance.
So, we've got roughly 4 or 5 days to prepare for Mechanics and Chemistry paper 2.
4/5 days = more time today dream revise
I'm going to sound reaaaallly lame for saying this next sentence.
I like organic chemistry. I do. No kidding.
GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Though whether i'm well versed with it is another different question.
Right,
still waiting the offer letter from JPA..It's the most important letter i'm waiting for and masih tak sampai-sampai lagi. It's gonna determine my future, where i'm going and what i'll be doing.
Faster la..
For now i don't know which country i got, don't know which college they'll ship me off to, don't know when i'll have to go. I'm hoping to continue A Levels here though. *fingers crossed*
And for the time being, i still have to take AS.
Anybody watched the American Idol finals?!?!
So David Cook emerged as the 7th American Idol, though my mum and i prefered the younger David. Heh. Yes, i watch a lot of reality shows and what nots. Which is one reason why i don't write chim essays for GP.
Oh yes, i almost forgot. Now i've got 'artifical perfect vision' so to quote ee lynn. =D
Gonna go daydream now. Ta.
When will it not be just a dream.
When will it be.
Just when.
Tell me?

Decisions part 2
I just told mummy. She's overjoyed..and probably relieved too cause i'll get sponsored education. So yeah, the decision is made. It's a yes.
It shocked me when the web page said 'Tahniah...'
Just didn't think the interviewers found me particularly outstanding during the interview. I mean all i did was just dish out some crappy points like those in Form 5 BM karangan and sound like i know my stuff. I'm thankful they think i'm scholarship material. Really really grateful. Though if they wanna send me to Indon or something, i duwan go. Eheh.
Wanted to recheck to make sure i saw the right thing but the server is still jammed.
Monkey wan.
I am happy.
I am happy.
I am happy.
I will be happy.
I will be happy.
...I don't know how i feel right now.
On the bright side, i don't have to study as hard for AS. Hahaha..;)
And to mummy,
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!
I <3 YOU MUMMY! =D
Edit: I managed to get on the server. This is definitely not a hallucination..

Love Bites
One fine day, in the midst of our last GP class, Lynn had a moment of randomness. My dear friend decided she would like to have a taste of my arm and SO..She bit me. TWICE. That is how i got my very first 'love bite'. Heh. Go here to see a photo of it.
ps-the bruise has developed and now looks like two guard cells surrounding a stoma
Saya takut.
Saya gentar.
Saya nak hubungi SPCF (Society for Prevention of Cruelty towards Friends).
On another note,
Physics Paper 2 on the 19th of May to kick start our AS exam. =(

Shift
Go try this game.
It's called Shift. Pretty addictive and requires some thinking..Though much easier than that annoying Magic Pen game.
I completed it in 1206 seconds...nowhere near the 687th person on the high score list.
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Go beat my time. If you have nothing to do. =D
It's more fun than studying torque of a couple and what-nots anyway. =P
I'll update when i'm home..later.
For now, i'll go find more silly games to play.
Wheeee!
Toodles.
